How to disinfect your speargun
The speargun is handled using all its constituent parts (handle, barrel, muzzle, etc). Speargun attachments must undergo the same disinfection (rubbers, shaft, lines, reel, wishbone, etc.)
We recommend that it be disinfected, particularly if you have lent it out, even occasionally; complete immersion is the best solution, but if you do not have a recipient the right size, you can disinfect it by spraying and vigorously brushing.

Before immersion, remove the shaft from the speargun.
Completely immerse the speargun and its shaft in the solution for the time indicated on the disinfectant product. Action the trigger, the lock and the other moveable parts to completely remove any salt or sand from the articulations of the swivelling parts.
If you cannot fully immerse your speargun, generously spray the entire gun with the solution for the time indicated on the disinfectant product while brushing vigorously with a soft bristle brush.
After immersion, rinse with clean, cold water and allow to dry in a dry place, out of the sun and not in contact with any other potentially contaminated surface. Put your speargun away in its casing to protect it from knocks and any reinfection.
